Summer Speed & Agility Camp 2017- 4 days


July 11,13,18 and 20th.- Session 1   6-7pm

 Edge Athletes Training Center is proud to offer its Speed and Agility summer camp.  This camp is designed to help individuals improve athletic performance and fitness through the development of strength, speed, agility, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, injury prevention strategies, and confidence.


Linear Acceleration

These workouts have a simple concept – teach athletes how to get from point A to point B in a shorter amount of time. To improve Linear Acceleration, our athletes work on: Starts, Acceleration / Deceleration, Sprint Mechanics, Change of Speed, Athletic Speed Development and Resistance Running


Lateral Acceleration

As opposed to Linear, which is running in a straight line, Lateral Acceleration measures your ability to move side to side. For Lateral Acceleration, we help our athletes improve in: Changing Directions, Accelerating From Different Positions, Body Control, Positioning and Reaction Time.


Other Areas of Focus

While movement is important, it isn’t the only focal point of our camps. Our athletes will work on every facet of their game. After Warm-up Drills, Foam Rolling and some Dynamic Stretching, our athletes will do workouts consisting of Plyometrics, Calisthenics, Conditioning, Flexibility and Hand-Eye Coordination, among others
